For the summer season, Ukrzaliznytsia has launched an additional regional train service between Odesa and Karolino-Bugaz, as reported by the official carrier’s source. This new service, starting June 28, is designed to facilitate travel during the peak holiday season, providing a comfortable and reliable alternative to road transport.
The route will be serviced by a modernized electric train equipped with air conditioning systems, ensuring passenger comfort during the summer heat. The travel time is approximately one hour. A key feature of this service is its integration with the arrival times of long-distance trains from major hubs including Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Chernivtsi, and Rakhiv. This synchronization allows passengers to seamlessly transfer to their coastal destinations after arriving in Odesa.
Train No. 838/837 will operate on even-numbered days in both directions. The train departs from Odesa at 09:17, reaching Karolino-Bugaz by 10:18. The return service departs from Karolino-Bugaz at 10:40, arriving back in Odesa at 11:46. Tickets for this regional service are currently available via the official Ukrzaliznytsia mobile application under the ‘Long-distance’ section.
