Ukrposhta Raises Parcel Rates from April 1, 2026: New Prices and What Has Changed

Ukrposhta has increased tariffs for the first time since 2024: what has changed?

From April 1, 2026, Ukrposhta — Ukraine’s national postal operator — has updated its domestic parcel delivery rates for the first time in two years. The changes affect select shipment categories and are driven by a significant increase in the company’s operating costs.

Why Did Prices Go Up

Ukrposhta says its fuel costs alone reach 40 million hryvnias per month. On top of that, expenses have grown for running generators, maintaining network operations during power blackouts, and repairing post offices and vehicles damaged by Russian strikes. The company notes that its previous rates no longer reflected the actual cost of delivering certain services, making an adjustment unavoidable.

The revision is selective. The most noticeable increases apply to large and oversized parcels and to priority delivery on routes where prices had previously lagged behind actual costs. For the smallest shipments, the increase averages around 5 hryvnias.

At the same time, Ukrposhta retains a 5-hryvnia discount for those who register shipments online — through the mobile app or personal account on the website — which also helps customers avoid queuing at branches.

New Domestic Parcel Rates

Prices depend on the parcel’s volume (under the “weightless tariff” system introduced on January 1, 2025), delivery direction, and the chosen plan — “Basic” or “Priority”.

Size Max volume, cm³ Basic: within region, UAH Basic: across Ukraine, UAH Priority: within region, UAH Priority: across Ukraine, UAH
Tiny 1,500 45 50 50 60
Small 4,000 50 55 55 65
Medium-small 8,000 75 80 85 90
Medium 20,000 80 85 90 95
Large 80,000 130 140 140 150
Extra-large 120,000 140 150 150 160

All prices include VAT. Shipping a parcel within the same branch costs 35 UAH.

Good to Know

Ukrposhta stresses that even after the update it remains one of the most affordable operators on the market — rates for certain shipment categories are up to 30% lower than competitors. The “Basic” plan remains the best-value option for non-urgent deliveries. Customers using non-standard packaging pay an extra 50 UAH for manual processing, since irregular containers cannot pass through the company’s robotic sorting lines.

A separate special rate applies for military personnel. Business customers with API access are already testing new features as part of a large-scale service upgrade Ukrposhta is preparing.
