In a landmark development for bilateral defense cooperation, the State Export Control Service of Ukraine has authorized the supply of F10 strike unmanned aerial systems, developed by the Ukrainian company F-Drones, to the United States. This marks the first time Ukraine has approved the export of fully integrated combat robotic units for the American military, as reported by Deep State. The contract is a key component of the Pentagon’s extensive “Drone Dominance” program.
The breakthrough followed rigorous testing in February 2026. During the Gauntlet I qualifying competitions held at Fort Benning, Georgia, the Ukrainian F10 system demonstrated exceptional technical performance. Competing against 25 international and domestic participants, the Ukrainian drone secured 6th place and was selected for the final list of 11 winning systems. Following these results, a firm order for 2,000 units was placed by the U.S. defense establishment.
Stas Khutir, CEO of F-Drones, emphasized that entering the U.S. market is a critical step for the capitalization of Ukraine’s defense industry. He noted that international contracts enable domestic companies to raise quality standards, attract investment, and integrate into global industrial value chains. Crucially, the CEO assured that these exports would not compromise current production quotas for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Instead, the revenue generated will allow for the rapid scaling of production capacity, ensuring that the frontlines remain equipped with cutting-edge technology.
This success highlights the growing maturity of the Ukrainian military-tech sector.
