Over the past 24 hours, the Russian occupation army has lost 1,230 personnel, killed and wounded, according to the official report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, total Russian losses have reached approximately 1,347,620 soldiers. Beyond manpower, the degradation of Russian military assets remains constant. Daily reports show the destruction of 2 tanks, 5 armored combat vehicles, 48 artillery systems, and a staggering 1,865 operational-level UAVs. These figures underscore the relentless pressure applied by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The attrition rate is particularly high in the Donetsk region, where Russia loses an average of 428 personnel for every kilometer of territory captured. Across the entire front line, the average loss rate stands at 254 soldiers per kilometer. Military analysts suggest that such high attrition is unsustainable, even for an aggressor with vast mobilization reserves. The accumulation of these losses over months has put immense strain on the Russian military apparatus. Earlier in April, Russia’s losses exceeded 35,000 in a single month, setting a grim benchmark for their command. While the Kremlin attempts to mask these casualties through strict information control, the logistical and economic impact is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. Recent reports indicate that the overall situation on the front has seen the most favorable trends for Ukraine in the last ten months, providing a glimmer of hope that the tide may be shifting in favor of the defenders. Despite the ongoing threat and continuous shelling, the resilience of the Ukrainian military remains the primary barrier against further Russian expansion. As the war continues to drain resources, the international community watches closely to see how long Russia can maintain this level of intensity before the logistical collapse predicted by many experts begins to manifest in full force.
