On Sunday, June 14, Russian occupation forces launched a targeted missile and artillery attack on the city of Dnipro, injuring seven civilians and severely damaging local industrial infrastructure. This hostile strike was officially reported by the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, who urged local residents to remain highly vigilant and strictly adhere to air raid warnings.
According to the regional military administration, the strike directly hit a light industry enterprise that plays a significant role in the local economy, providing jobs for dozens of residents. The blast wave and direct impact completely destroyed the ceiling of one of the main production workshops and caused extensive damage to expensive manufacturing equipment. This attack highlights Moscow’s deliberate strategy to paralyze Ukraine’s economic capacity by targeting non-military, civilian businesses that have no connection to the defense sector.
The casualties of the strike were ordinary employees who were performing their duties at the facility or walking nearby. Out of the seven injured civilians, three men were rushed to a local hospital in Dnipro. Medical professionals assessed their condition as moderate, noting that while their lives are not in immediate danger, they will require prolonged medical treatment and rehabilitation. The other four victims received necessary medical and psychological first aid on-site from emergency responders.
