Russian Terror on Odesa: Civilian Infrastructure and Maritime Corridor Under Attack

Russian aggressors continue to escalate their terror campaign against Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure. According to the official report by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, on his Telegram channel, on June 19, Russian forces targeted a parking lot for commercial vehicles in the Odesa region. The strike resulted in a massive fire, destroying several empty fuel trucks. Tragically, one person lost their life, and four others were injured, with one victim requiring hospitalization. This strike occurred during a broader surge in Russian aggression, which remains a primary instrument of the Kremlin’s attempt to destabilize the country. On the same morning, Russian drones attacked two civilian vessels navigating the Ukrainian maritime corridor in the Black Sea. This cynical act of aggression led to the death of another sailor and left five more wounded, marking a clear attempt to disrupt global food security and Ukraine’s economic survival. Furthermore, the violence spread across the country, as Russian forces targeted Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region, killing an 8-year-old girl.
