The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated data on Russian military losses, indicating a significant intensification of counter-battery operations and the systematic depletion of the occupiers’ technical capabilities on key front-line sectors. According to the official report by the GenStaff of the AFU, over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 1,350 Russian invaders and destroyed a record 82 enemy artillery systems. Total manpower losses of the Russian Federation since the beginning of the full-scale invasion have now neared 1.37 million personnel, illustrating the catastrophic toll of the war for the Kremlin.

The latest figures highlight a strategic shift on the battlefield. The destruction of 82 artillery systems in a single day represents one of the highest daily tolls recorded since the outbreak of the war. This milestone points to the high efficiency of Ukrainian reconnaissance and strike systems, as well as the successful deployment of Western-supplied counter-battery radars and precision-guided artillery. As Russia heavily relies on artillery dominance to support its offensive actions, the loss of dozens of systems severely limits its tactical capabilities and leaves its advancing infantry vulnerable.

In addition to heavy artillery losses, the Ukrainian military neutralized an unprecedented 2,245 operational-tactical unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the past day. This extraordinary figure reflects the immense density of drone warfare along the front line. The clash of electronic warfare (EW) systems and unmanned technologies requires continuous adaptation from both sides. Currently, Ukraine’s mobile air defense units and electronic warfare assets are successfully countering these massive drone threats, protecting critical infrastructure and front-line positions.

The overall equipment losses of the Russian army over the past day also include 6 tanks, 4 armored fighting vehicles, 7 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 2 air defense systems, and 393 transport vehicles. Notably, Ukrainian forces destroyed 10 ground robotic platforms, highlighting Russia’s growing attempts to integrate unmanned ground vehicles into active assault operations. These statistics demonstrate that despite intense pressure across the front line, Ukrainian forces maintain a highly effective attritional defense, steadily grinding down the enemy’s offensive potential.
