Night Terror in Dnipropetrovsk Region: Consequences of Massive Russian Attacks

Наслідки ворожого обстрілу Дніпропетровської області

The Russian occupation forces launched a violent night attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in civilian casualties and significant infrastructure damage. According to the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, in his official Telegram statement, the enemy conducted over 30 strikes across four districts of the region using both drones and artillery.

Currently, eight people are confirmed injured across the region. In the city of Dnipro, three residents were hurt, with two men, aged 50 and 60, receiving outpatient care. The situation in the Kryvyi Rih district is even more severe, where four people were wounded due to strikes on civilian infrastructure; three of them were hospitalized in serious to moderate condition. The relentless shelling has destroyed residential houses and local businesses, further escalating the humanitarian crisis in the affected communities.

In the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts, the scale of destruction includes multi-story buildings, industrial facilities, and private properties. A 58-year-old man was hospitalized in the Synelnykove district following an attack on local infrastructure. These strikes are part of a broader, cynical strategy employed by Russia to exhaust Ukraine’s rear cities and break the morale of the local population.

These continuous assaults demonstrate the persistent danger faced by residents in frontline and central regions alike. Local authorities are working tirelessly to provide assistance to the wounded and restore vital services, but the regularity of these attacks remains a critical security challenge. It is evident that the aggressor’s tactics remain focused on damaging civilian lives and economic stability. Factage Ukraine continues to monitor the situation closely, providing verified reports on the regional impact of these ongoing hostile acts. Citizens are urged to remain vigilant and prioritize safety during air raid alerts as the regional administration coordinates emergency responses to the destruction caused by the overnight shelling.
