The Poltava Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC) officially announced that from now on, only personnel with verified combat experience (combat veteran status) will be included in notification groups. This policy shift is aimed at enhancing the efficiency of mobilization and professionalizing the interaction between the military and civilians.
According to the TCC, selecting personnel with actual frontline experience is a strategic decision. These soldiers possess firsthand knowledge of the war’s intensity, the nature of the adversary, and the critical staffing needs of various combat units. By utilizing combat veterans for recruitment tasks, the military intends to communicate more effectively with society regarding the necessity of rotations and replenishing combat-hardened units.
“These soldiers carry out their tasks with the clear understanding that they are replenishing their former units, effectively giving their comrades in arms a chance for a much-needed rest,” stated the TCC leadership. This approach is designed to foster a sense of mutual support and duty. Meanwhile, soldiers currently processing their veteran documents will be assigned to secondary administrative tasks, while those lacking combat experience will be sent to rotating units to gain necessary training in real-world conditions.
This structural change comes at a time when the Ukrainian Armed Forces remain heavily engaged in holding the line on critical front sectors.
