Overnight on Saturday, April 11, Russian occupation forces launched another massive drone strike on the southern Ukrainian city of Odesa. The nighttime attack targeted residential neighborhoods, causing significant damage to private property and igniting multiple fires across the civilian sectors of the city.
According to the official statement from the Odesa City Military Administration, the kamikaze drones directly hit civilian infrastructure. “The enemy attacked the city with drones. There is a hit on a private house in one of the districts,” reported the military administration’s press service.
As the night progressed, local authorities provided further details on the aftermath of the bombardment. Officials clarified that the relentless drone barrage caused a fire in another residential building and completely engulfed the roof of a local dormitory. Emergency services and first responders were immediately dispatched to the scenes, successfully localizing and extinguishing the flames before they could spread to adjacent structures.
