Tragically, one Egyptian crew member was killed during the strike. However, the Ukrainian Navy successfully executed a rescue operation, saving the lives of Turkish and Indian nationals. Beyond the Turkish vessel, two other ships flying the flags of Palau and Belize were damaged. This incident represents a deliberate escalation of maritime warfare intended to destabilize global trade and intimidate international shipping companies operating in the Black Sea corridor.
