As of 16:00 on May 11, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 38 attacks by Russian occupation forces. While this represents a decrease in intensity compared to the previous day, the front remains highly active, with fierce fighting reported across several key sectors.

The Pokrovsk direction continues to be the primary focus of enemy efforts. Russian forces attempted to advance 12 times near settlements such as Rodinske, Hryshyne, and Udachne. As of this afternoon, four active skirmishes remain ongoing in this sector. Meanwhile, the Kostiantynivka and Lyman directions have also seen significant pressure, with eight and seven enemy assaults respectively. Ukrainian defensive units are maintaining their positions, successfully repelling the majority of these offensive pushes despite the constant barrage.

In the southern sectors, including the Huliaipole and Orikhiv axes, the intensity of combat operations remained relatively moderate. Russian forces attempted to probe the Ukrainian lines near Stepnohirsk and Staroukrainka, but these efforts were thwarted. Notably, several other sectors, including the Kursk and Kupyansk fronts, showed a temporary lull in offensive activity, which military analysts attribute to potential enemy regrouping or logistical constraints.

Despite the tactical shifts on the battlefield, the Russian military continues to expend significant resources in its attempt to breach Ukrainian defenses. The resilience of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been pivotal in preventing large-scale breakthroughs, with soldiers demonstrating remarkable coordination in repelling enemy waves. As the conflict enters this new phase, the Ukrainian military command emphasizes the importance of vigilance and readiness for potential shifts in enemy strategy.

The toll on the Russian military remains heavy, with significant losses in manpower reported in previous daily summaries. As the war continues, the coordination between frontline units and high-level strategic planning remains the backbone of the Ukrainian resistance. The international community continues to monitor these developments closely, recognizing that the situation at the front line directly impacts the wider geopolitical stability of Eastern Europe. The Armed Forces of Ukraine remain committed to holding the line and protecting the nation’s sovereignty against ongoing aggression.
