Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully repelled 257 Russian attacks across the front line, according to the official report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Pokrovsk direction continues to be the most intense area of combat, with Russian forces launching 39 assault actions in a single day.
The Russian military is currently employing a strategy of heavy aerial and artillery bombardment, particularly in the North-Slobodske and Kursk sectors, where 97 shelling incidents and seven guided aerial bomb (KAB) strikes were recorded. This intense pressure is aimed at softening defensive lines before mechanized and infantry pushes. The Kostiantynivka sector also saw high activity, with 28 separate assaults recorded near Toretsk and its vicinity.
Analysts note that Moscow is concentrating massive forces in the Pokrovsk sector, with an estimated grouping of 106,000 personnel.
