The situation on the front line remained critical over the past 24 hours, with 248 combat engagements recorded, as reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Pokrovsk direction remains the epicenter of the fighting, with 50 intense clashes, while Russian forces have also ramped up their offensive operations in the Huliaipole and Kostiantynivka sectors.
Russian forces continue their policy of intensive aerial bombardment, conducting 82 airstrikes and dropping 255 guided aerial bombs (KABs) on Ukrainian positions and civilian settlements. The intensity of artillery shelling and the use of suicide drones remain at record levels, forcing the Ukrainian defense forces to operate under extreme pressure. In response, Ukrainian aviation and artillery units have struck 12 concentrations of enemy troops, destroying key equipment including a UAV control post and artillery batteries.
On the Huliaipole front alone, the enemy launched 32 attacks in an attempt to breach defense lines near settlements such as Dobropillia and Huliaipolske. Similarly, heavy fighting was reported on the Lyman and Kostiantynivka axes, where Russian units attempted multiple incursions. Despite the relentless onslaught, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled these attempts, inflicting heavy losses on the invading army. Recent statistics confirm that the total number of neutralized Russian personnel continues to mount significantly as the Kremlin persists in its unsuccessful attempts to gain ground at any cost.
There are currently no signs of Russian forces forming new offensive strike groups on the Volyn or Polissia borders, indicating that the bulk of their offensive potential is currently exhausted in the east and south of Ukraine. The resilience of the Ukrainian defense remains the only obstacle preventing the enemy from achieving its strategic goals. As the war of attrition continues, the international community’s focus remains on the immense sacrifices made by the Ukrainian military to maintain the integrity of their defensive lines. Every repelled attack confirms the determination of the Ukrainian army to withstand the enemy’s aggression.
