The situation on the Ukrainian front remains critical as Russian forces continue their relentless offensive. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 63 combat engagements occurred across the frontline within a single day. The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Sloviansk axes, employing both artillery and guided aerial bombs to soften Ukrainian defensive lines.
Russian artillery continues to strike the border regions of the Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts, targeting civilian areas like Senkivka and Neskuchne. This systematic destruction of infrastructure is a hallmark of the Kremlin’s current strategy of intimidation. Meanwhile, intense battles are raging in the east. Specifically, on the Pokrovsk front, Russian units attempted 15 times to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their positions. Similar intensity is observed near Kostiantynivka and Sloviansk, where Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 16 attacks on each front.
Despite the pressure, the Ukrainian defense remains intact. Our units are holding their ground, inflicting significant losses on the invaders who are attempting to push toward key logistics hubs.
