Ukraine has officially proposed the establishment of a specialized “Drone Deal” partnership with Ireland, aimed at fostering direct cooperation in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles. According to a statement posted on President Volodymyr Zelensky’s Telegram channel, this initiative is designed to bolster security across air and maritime domains by bridging the gap between the two nations’ technology sectors.
During a high-level visit to Dublin, President Zelensky highlighted that the partnership is intended to transcend conventional defense procurement. Instead, Ukraine is offering Ireland a framework for mutual technological exchange, sharing extensive battlefield expertise in drone engineering and tactical deployment in exchange for European innovation and business collaboration. “We are proposing a Drone Deal, relevant technologies.
