On the night of May 16, the Dnipropetrovsk region was subjected to a brutal series of Russian attacks, according to an official statement by the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, via Telegram. The enemy deployed a combination of unmanned aerial vehicles and heavy artillery, targeting three districts of the region and resulting in extensive infrastructure damage and civilian injuries.
The Nikopol district bore the brunt of the assault, with Nikopol, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovske, and Myrivka communities coming under heavy fire. The shelling resulted in the destruction of 17 cars and 15 mopeds. A 22-year-old man was injured and is currently receiving outpatient treatment.
