High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas stated on Monday, July 13, that Brussels is ready to cooperate with the new leadership as long as progress continues.
“Of course, forming a government is an internal political affair. For us, it is important to have counterparts so we can continue our work. It is also vital that reforms continue because we want to advance the enlargement agenda, and we need to see that Ukraine is delivering on its side,” Kallas said ahead of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting.
The current political restructuring comes at a critical time for Ukraine.
