Russian occupation forces have once again demonstrated their criminal tactics by deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure in the Donetsk region. As reported by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, on his Telegram channel, another war crime occurred on July 21, resulting in civilian casualties.
As a result of intense shelling, two people were killed and seven others sustained injuries of varying severity. The enemy fire hit residential areas and civilian vehicles. In Druzhkivka, at least three private homes were damaged, leaving three residents wounded. The situation in Znamienivka was even more tragic: a Russian shell struck a civilian vehicle, killing two people and injuring four others.
This is not an isolated incident; it is a systematic pattern of targeting the unarmed population. The Russian leadership is consciously turning everyday life into a military target, showing total disregard for international humanitarian law. Regional authorities have reiterated their calls for residents to comply with safety protocols and, whenever possible, to evacuate from settlements currently under constant bombardment.

As the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports, intense fighting continues in the east, with dozens of daily attacks launched by the enemy. For the residents of the frontline areas, remaining in their homes has become increasingly dangerous, and the only viable way to minimize risks in this ongoing conflict is to move to safer regions of the country.
