Over the past 24 hours, 261 combat engagements were recorded across nine operational directions. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided this data in its official morning operational report on Saturday, July 11. The operational situation remains severe as Russian forces continue their high-intensity assault operations.
Russian forces launched 105 airstrikes, utilizing 291 guided aerial bombs (KABs). The scale of the offensive includes the deployment of 7,360 kamikaze drones and 2,822 shelling attacks against both civilian infrastructure and Ukrainian defensive lines, including 106 MLRS strikes. In response, the Ukrainian Air Force conducted precision strikes against two enemy personnel concentration areas.
The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 38 attacks. High levels of activity were also noted in the Sloviansk sector (29 attacks) and the Lyman sector (23 attacks). The sheer volume of enemy efforts across these directions highlights Moscow’s disregard for its own troop casualties, as observed in recent reports tracking daily Russian losses. The Kostyantynivka and Huliapole sectors also saw 20 and 18 attacks respectively, indicating the enemy is probing for weak spots along the entire contact line.
Interestingly, the Russian military has ceased offensive actions in the Kupiansk and Dnipro river sectors. This shift supports the assessment by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, who recently noted a significant reduction in the number of active offensive directions for the enemy—down from 13 to approximately 6 or 7. This contraction signals the gradual depletion of Russian reserves despite their persistent efforts to maintain pressure.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has remarked that the current situation on the frontline is more favorable for Ukraine than at any point in the last ten months. While the battlefield remains dangerous, the Ukrainian military’s ability to stabilize the front and inflict heavy attrition on the adversary suggests a shift in the momentum of the war. Continued defense remains contingent upon international support and the successful implementation of current structural reforms within the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
