The strike hit the “Yagotynske for Children” manufacturing facility in the Brovary district of the Kyiv region, a plant crucial for supplying infant nutrition across the country. The attack resulted in the deaths of four civilian employees and left at least seven others wounded. Search and rescue teams continue to clear the rubble, as more individuals are feared trapped beneath the collapsed structures. Targeting a facility dedicated to feeding infants underscores the deliberate disregard for humanitarian norms by Russian forces, shifting the focus of military action directly onto the civilian population’s survival resources.
This attack is part of a broader, systematic effort to disrupt Ukrainian logistics and daily life. Over the past few days, Russian strikes have also targeted food warehouses and a postal service hub in the Dnipropetrovsk region, an ambulance in the Kherson region, a school in Sumy, and medical clinics in the Kharkiv region.
