This surge in casualties brings the estimated total of Russian military personnel losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion to approximately 1,362,500. The sheer scale of these losses highlights the relentless intensity of the attrition warfare currently defining the front line, as the Kremlin continues its high-risk offensive operations.
In addition to the devastating human toll, the Russian armed forces continue to lose valuable military hardware at an unsustainable rate. Over the last day, Ukrainian defense forces successfully destroyed 2 main battle tanks (bringing the total to 11,960), 7 armored combat vehicles (totaling 24,643), and an exceptional number of artillery systems—70 units in a single day, raising the aggregate to 42,930.
