The Patrol Police of Ukraine has released body-worn camera footage showing officers arriving at the scenes of Russian missile and drone strikes on the night of May 24, as reported on their official Facebook page. The harrowing video highlights the immediate response of law enforcement, who worked alongside emergency services to save lives while the city was still under threat.

According to the official statement, officers were among the first responders at the impact sites. They worked in coordination with paramedics, firefighters, and civilian volunteers to clear debris, break open blocked apartment doors, and provide critical pre-hospital care to the wounded. This latest aggression has left a significant toll on the civilian population. As previously reported by Factage Ukraine, the total number of victims in the capital reached 81, including three children, marking one of the most intense waves of attacks on the city center.

The scale of the destruction extends beyond residential areas. Russian missiles damaged historical landmarks, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building, several museums, theaters, and a philharmonic hall. This targeted destruction is being investigated as a war crime. While the recovery process continues, the prompt actions of the police units have been instrumental in minimizing further casualties. The efficiency with which emergency teams, including police and rescue squads, restore functionality to the city following such strikes is vital for maintaining resilience.

Currently, the special services continue to work on site, investigating the damage and documenting every piece of evidence for future international tribunals. The intensity of these strikes reinforces the need for continued global support and stricter accountability for the Russian regime. Despite the terror, Kyiv remains operational, standing strong thanks to the coordinated efforts of those who work under fire to protect their fellow citizens.
