The operational situation along the frontline in Ukraine remains highly dynamic and intense, with Russian occupation forces continuing their relentless efforts to breach Ukrainian defensive lines. According to the latest operational update published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 16:00 on Saturday, April 11, the enemy had already launched 50 attacks against Ukrainian positions.
The eastern front continues to be the epicenter of hostile military operations. The Kostiantynivka sector experienced significant pressure, with Russian forces conducting 14 assaults near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Rusynyi Yar, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka. Concurrently, the strategically crucial Pokrovsk direction saw 13 distinct attempts by the occupiers to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their established defensive perimeters. Fierce combat engagements were reported around Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske, and Novopavlivka, where Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled the advancing infantry.
In the northern and northeastern sectors, particularly across the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian forces recorded four combat clashes. The aggressor also subjected border settlements and military positions to 28 separate artillery and mortar bombardments, including at least one strike utilizing a multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS). The Kupyansk and Lyman directions witnessed persistent but fruitless enemy efforts to improve tactical positions, with Russian troops attempting advances toward Petropavlivka, Novoosynove, Zarichne, and Shyikivka.
The southern operational zone remains characterized by heavy enemy aerial activity and sporadic ground assaults. In the Huliaipole direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully neutralized four attacks near Solodke and Olenokostiantynivka. Russian aviation conducted multiple airstrikes targeting civilian and logistical infrastructure in Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Kopani, and Rivne. Further southwest, in the Prydniprovske sector, the enemy made three unsuccessful pushes toward the Antonivka bridge and Bilohrudyi Island, all of which were decisively thwarted by Ukrainian marine and artillery units.
The relentless pace of Russian assaults has resulted in staggering personnel losses for the invading army. The General Staff confirmed that over the past 24 hours alone, the Russian military suffered an estimated 1,440 casualties, including both killed and wounded in action. These devastating daily figures bring the total estimated losses of the aggressor state to an unprecedented 1,310,110 personnel since the commencement of the full-scale invasion, highlighting the extreme human cost of Moscow’s ongoing war of attrition.
