Ihor Skybiuk is a seasoned combat commander who previously served as the Deputy Chief of the General Staff and commanded the Air Assault Forces. His leadership during the liberation of Izyum in 2022 established him as a highly capable strategist. He will be working in tandem with the newly appointed Commander-in-Chief, Mykhailo Drapatyi, to synchronize defense operations across all fronts.
