As reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, invaders launched strike drones at civilian infrastructure in the Shevchenkivskyi and Kyivskyi districts. This latest assault serves as yet another act of intimidation against the local population, who continue to endure constant aerial threats.
The drone strikes caused significant damage to over 20 residential buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi district. In the Kyivskyi district, a fire broke out in a garage cooperative as a result of the impact. Currently, there are at least three reported injuries, with emergency services and rescue teams working tirelessly on the ground to mitigate the damage and provide assistance to those affected.
The situation in the region remains highly volatile. The Russian Federation is systematically employing a strategy of urban destruction, turning civilian life into a daily struggle for survival. These strikes are deliberate acts of war intended to instill fear and destabilize the region.
