The investigation into the violent incident that occurred in the Sykhiv district of Lviv is intensifying. According to the official statement from the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (https://t.me/pgo_gov_ua/38908), a court has ordered three more individuals involved in the attack on military personnel to be remanded in custody without the possibility of bail.
Investigators state that two men, aged 21 and 28, played a key role in orchestrating the unrest on the night of July 9. They were seen actively inciting the crowd and participating in the physical destruction of a military vehicle belonging to the local Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC). The suspects reportedly blocked the vehicle, jumped on the roof, and eventually overturned it. A third individual, a 45-year-old local resident, was charged with assaulting a TCC officer, attempting to tear off his uniform while using verbal abuse.
This incident, which began as a routine check of military registration documents, escalated into a mass confrontation. Law enforcement agencies acted swiftly to identify those responsible through video evidence and witness testimonies. Both the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff have issued strong condemnations of the attack, emphasizing that such actions undermine national security and stability during a time of war.
