On July 10–11, Ukrainian defense forces executed a series of high-precision operations aimed at crippling the aggressor’s military and economic capabilities, as reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The strikes targeted both key installations in occupied territories and strategic assets deep inside Russian borders.
Official reports confirm the successful engagement of the “Kalmius” training ground near Dokuchaievsk. Additionally, the strikes neutralized enemy drone control centers in the Belgorod and Zaporizhzhia regions, along with personnel concentrations in Horlivka and the Kursk region. These operations represent a calculated strategic shift toward exhausting the enemy’s resources, a direct response to the continuous aggression that demands a sophisticated counter-strike strategy.
The General Staff also released a comprehensive summary of recent successful operations targeting Russia’s oil and gas infrastructure. Notably, the St. Petersburg oil terminal suffered significant damage, with multiple storage tanks rendered inoperable. Similar strikes were reported at refineries in Yaroslavl and Nizhnekamsk, where critical equipment, including pipelines and processing units, sustained severe damage. At the Borisoglebsk airfield in the Voronezh region, a strike resulted in the destruction of 28 tankers containing 1,600 cubic meters of aviation fuel, severely limiting the operational capacity of the Russian air force.
Furthermore, intelligence reports highlight a record-breaking blow to the Russian maritime supply chain, with 21 tankers, four tugboats, and several dry cargo ships struck within a single 24-hour period. These efforts serve as a testament to the effectiveness of Ukraine’s asymmetrical warfare tactics.
Military analysts suggest that these systematic strikes on logistics and production facilities are pivotal to the current phase of the war. While Russia continues its terror campaign against Ukrainian urban centers, Ukraine’s focus remains firmly set on degrading the enemy’s ability to project force. By targeting the economic and logistical foundations of the invasion, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are effectively forcing the aggressor to divert its remaining capacity toward damage control, significantly weakening their overall offensive potential.
