Over the past 24 hours, the front line saw 219 combat engagements, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The situation remains critical, particularly in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 41 enemy attacks, inflicting significant casualties on the invading forces. The enemy continues its campaign of terror, utilizing a massive arsenal of guided aerial bombs, kamikaze drones, and artillery to target both military positions and civilian settlements.
The General Staff reported 51 airstrikes involving 158 guided aerial bombs, while over 6,600 kamikaze drones were deployed by the Russian side. Daily shelling reached 2,035 recorded incidents. While the enemy remains active across the Kupiansk, Lyman, and Kostiantynivka sectors, their efforts to break through in the Pokrovsk sector have resulted in substantial losses of equipment and personnel, including the destruction of an oil depot and numerous UAV command points. Ukrainian forces continue to neutralize hundreds of enemy drones, demonstrating tactical superiority despite the enemy’s attempts to overwhelm defenses through sheer numbers.
Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi noted that it is too early to declare a qualitative shift in the war, as the Russian Federation maintains significant offensive potential. Nevertheless, the resilience of the Ukrainian forces remains the decisive factor on the battlefield. Despite the intensity of the attacks, the Defense Forces maintain control over the situation, preventing a total breakthrough.
