A high-profile investigation is underway regarding the 425th Independent Assault Regiment ‘Skelya’ following reports of severe human rights violations. As reported by the Ukrainian Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, his office is verifying allegations concerning torture, the establishment of illegal detention sites, and instances of personnel being driven to suicide. Lubinets emphasized that such violations, particularly under martial law, are absolutely unacceptable and demand an immediate legal response.
