Shortly after, in the Bilopillia community, a Russian FPV drone targeted a moving civilian vehicle on a local road. The explosion killed a 64-year-old female passenger, while the 66-year-old male driver sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
These incidents are part of a broader, daily bombardment of the region. Just the day before, Russian forces targeted an agricultural enterprise in the Sadivska community with a drone, wounding five farm workers and killing livestock. Additionally, medical authorities in Shostka confirmed the death of another woman who succumbed to injuries sustained in a previous Russian airstrike. The systematic nature of these strikes on residential homes, agricultural facilities, and civilian transport demonstrates a concerted effort to depopulate the border regions and destroy local livelihoods.
